ABOUT ME
Encouraged to read at a young age, my foundation for writing was born. Through reading, I was exposed to vocabulary, syntax, and the elements that served to hold my attention. I am still an avid reader, and can get lost in an afternoon devouring pages from NY Times bestsellers to historical accounts.
My parents took turns reading full adventure stories to my brother and I during family time. These moments infused life into works of fiction like: Treasure Island, The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Wizard of Oz. So enthralled with these adventures, I would sneak the books and read ahead.

PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY
I first secured contract work while attending Florida State University as I worked on a BS in Communications. Having the ability to synthesize material and convey succinct thoughts of understanding put me on the radar for last minute projects on a deadline. After graduation, I worked in local tv news--typing all the information into the chyron for the morning and noon news; it was here that I gained experience floor directing, running the audio board, and editing video (when the media was on videotape).
The choice to move to Orlando came after a year of working to save money to move without having work lined up. The promise of film production work was prevalent at that time. I made contacts, worked on several Nickelodeon shows, and had amazing opportunities present themselves.
I wrote for several years for the South Lake FOCUS and WG Winter Garden Magazine both local, positive editorial-style magazines. I contributed articles about local events, businesses, and even had
a recurring monthly feature article outlining aspects of "healthy living".
Since then the diversity of projects have presented themselves in the form of educational virtual campus tour scripts (including the National Institutes of Health), operational manuals, live event content creation, promotional materials, and even an annulment appeal to the Catholic church.
